Our Team

Mickey Mikeworth

Mickey Mikeworth | Prosperity Leader, Chief Financial  Strategy & a whole lot more

Mickey is the owner and CEO of Mikeworth Consulting. As a consultant, teacher and creative lead, she’s the executive’s confidant — not to mention the inside source to new ideas in personal and professional wealth management strategy. If a project needs a little vision (or a lot, for that matter) and a fair share of planning, Ms. Mikeworth is the wealth wonder of the world. She has many resources at her disposal and is one of the most energetic people you’ll ever have the opportunity to meet. She will find a solution specific to your needs and make you laugh while she’s doing it. Mickey prides herself on being a light for many. And being a two-time winner of the Top Women in Finance, that light is pretty bright. You can guarantee that she knows what she’s doing.

Valarie Holm

Kelly Gilmore | Administration

Kelly is our executive administrator who also lives South Africa so be aware of our time zone difference.  She is a key person in  keeping business running so smoothly. She handles the immense amount of partnership meetings, global meetings and time zones, office scheduling, all the different newsletters, class schedules, PLUS data and documents. She is a dynamo of details and we love her Queens English.

Kelly used to live in London and relocated to South Africa for the great weather and to be closer to family and raise her daughter.  She lives with her partner, her daughter and a cute little dog who goes crazy as cows walk by in the middle of the day.

South Africa  is in the opposite season of our team in MN, so while we are freezing she is in a heatwave. We often ask for a peek of the summer sun to keep us in good spirits during those long February days of the Midwest.

Vincent

If our philanthropy delivery team had a face, it would be Vincent’s. He manages all the heavy lifting of Project Elf, handling the community drop-offs throughout the year. He has been critical in working with the vast amounts of volunteers an donations that come in to be moved out to those in need. He has learned an enormous amount over the last 8 years and is often an add in intern with our larger events.

Currently, Vincent is working on his cosplay future, and building new online characters.

Annie

This could be YOU! Internship

We have a variety of intern positions that are available in social media, writing, videography, photography, event planning, and small business support.  Mikeworth Consulting  is a safe place with a flexible schedule to gain valuable experience and refine skills. We celebrate our interns.

We have 8 total paid and unpaid positions each year. We hire 4 in January and open 4 unpaid, 12 week creative internships in summer.  These roles have small projects that are often attached to a larger storyboard. Our interns can try out to new skills, get face time with real businesses,  and have a less stressful timeline to learn and grow while they build a larger resume.

If you love Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Graphic Design, or commercial writing,  you may love our summer internships as a tool to build your creative resume. Internships are actually fun and it is also a quick way to refine skills for those who are already working in their field.

Valarie Holm

Valarie Holm | Administration

Valarie is our fearless leader’s executive administrator, and creativity in all things makes her mind click at lightning speed. In other words, she’s the reason why our business runs so smoothly. You can toss Valarie anything (literally anything), and she’ll find a way to do it…if, of course, she hasn’t done it already. Prior to Mikeworth Consulting, Valarie spent 13 years in the public school district in the library sciences and was the owner of a small boutique. When not serving as Mickey’s right (and sometimes left) arm, Valarie can be found reading, creating, and playing with her four grandkids. Valarie lives near Zimmerman, MN, with her husband.

Shawna

Shawna Thompson | Financial Advocacy

Shawna handles financial advocacy for special needs cases at Mikeworth Consulting. She’s our go-to gal when working with lawyers or family trusts for trust recipient that would benefit from a financial advocate to interface with every day. In this role, Shawna assures the needs of the individual are protected when dealing with any issue or exchanges involving a trust. Families and individuals with unique needs also rely on Shawna’s expertise (and rock star education) to handle their everyday budgets and bill payments, explain their financial responsibilities and to create positive financial change in their lives. She’s a huge music buff who loves to dance (sometimes to the beat of her very own drum).

Vincent

Vincent Pryor| Philanthropy All-Star

If our philanthropy delivery team had a face, it would be Vincent’s. He manages all the heavy lifting of Project Elf, handling the community drop-offs throughout the year. Currently, Vincent is working on his education, so you can often find him sitting atop his Starbucks throne, governing over his studies.

Annie

Annie Haubenhofer | Intern

In 2014 Annie moved into being the business consultant for a niche company for dogs and cats where they specialized in care for special needs, geriatrics, and aggressive rehabilitation, working with over 17,000 clients.  The business was insolvent before Annie stepped in and it became profitable in 24 months.

Annie’s primary role was to drive visibility of the company, revitalize the brand, redevelop infrastructure and operations, generate stability in workflow, increase revenue and develop partnerships.

At the end of 2015, it was clear that they were in a position to continue as is, and she was ready to venture out into a new field which led Annie to Mikeworth Consulting.

In Annie’s spare time she likes to build/re-build 2 stroke motorcycles or mopeds, train in Muay Thai, and is a professional Animal Behavioral Trainer working widely with rescues and private clients.
